BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM (BESS)
Integrated a Rolls Royce 150 kW generator into the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) for backup support. Developed parallel control capabilities to enable grid-tied baseload operation, as well as functionality during grid outages and low battery conditions.
GEOTHERMAL ENERGY TESTING,
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH
Successfully paralleled fifteen 1MW generators for a remote geothermal testing site. Oversaw the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of analog load sharing lines. Integrated an analog-to-CANbus load sharing system, enabling different brands of generators to operate in parallel effectively.
BORDER PROJECT,
TUCSON, ARIZONA
Performed system load analysis, setup, and commissioning of ten 500kW generators running in parallel operation to total a system capacity of 5MW. Trained onsite personnel to operate machinery in a safe environment, while operating the system efficiently. Setup a network of communication between generators to allow kW and kVAR sharing among generators.
